Viewers and creators exploring What A Year 2025 Was Life Changing Nursing have highlighted several interesting perspectives: In another post by @bone_to_thrive: “Real talk? Nursing in 2025 is not the same career we signed up for. The heart is still there... but the system? it's breaking the very people keeping it alive. Here's why so many of us are quietly looking for a way out: unsafe staffing → more patients, fewer hands, constant guilt that you can't be everywhere at once burnout on repeat → no time to recover before you're right back in it no support → leadership is stretched, bedside nurses are drowning, everyone is "doing their best,"
But no one is okay low pay for the level of responsibility → literal life-or-death decisions... for wages that don't match the pressure PTO that feels imaginary → asking permission to rest?? in this economy?? family life suffering → missing dinners, kid events, weekends, holidays... and pretending it's normal healthcare trauma we never process → but we keep pushing because "patients need us" the constant feeling of being replaceable → even though we're holding the system together I LOVE being a nurse. I don't love what nursing became. and that's the truth nobody wants to say out loud. nurses deserve rest. Nurses deserve financial breathing room. nurses deserve a life.
Outside the hospital walls. that's why I stopped relying on a job that drained me... and started learning high-income skills that let me work in pockets of my mom-life, not the other way around. If you're tired, burned out, or wondering what else is possible — you're not alone. comment FREEDOM and I'll show you exactly what I'm doing now- in 2025 and taking in-to 2026”. The dream I prayed for, cried for, and worked for is finally here. This is for the nights I.
Doubted myself. This is for the future Nurse me 💙🩺”. According to user @britt8990: “My biggest flex of 2025 was finally having the balls to go work in veterinary medicine. Seeing and being a part of the good, the bad, and everything in between has been surreal and one of the best experiences this year. I was terrified of vet medicine because of euthanasia. Still not my favorite part of the job, but it’s something I think I can handle better with time and understand how we can end suffering despite it being tough, especially when it is unexpected. I recently started working part time as a veterinary assistant. My.
Mind is BLOWN. Vet techs, or a veterinary nurse will do more hands on skills in one day than I will ever do in my entire RN career. I have sooo much respect for their specific skill set. Vet nurses aren’t just nurses, they’re also: X-ray techs Phlebotomists and lab tech Anesthesia providers Surgical tech And sooooo many more things. As a RN I’ve never taken X-rays, spun down blood, provided anesthesia, etc for any of my patients. Veterinary nurses make 1/3-1/2 of what RNs make, yet the do sooo much more. But many people don’t recognize this. Veterinary medicine takes a special type of person & I am beyond.
Happy to call vet techs nurses, because they ARE NURSES! Thank you all for welcoming me into the field and teaching me all the things. I love what I do and am so happy I can have both careers in my life! Animals are my true calling.”. In another post by @natalieeraeee: “Bring back positivity in nursing🫡 #”. What an amazing year to be a labor and delivery nurse. Thankful for every baby and momma I met along the way. You all mean more to.
Me than you’ll ever know! Here’s to 2026 😚🩵🩷”. As noted by @nursebanks8: “The journey wasn’t easy, but every challenge was worth it. Beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve. Here's to the future, full of compassion, growth, and making every moment count.”. According to user @its_megannnnn: “2025, you changed me in the best ways. You stretched me, strengthened me, and showed me what I’m capable of. Finishing my first year as an RN, checking off milestones and goals, quiet moments, healing, and growth I didn’t even know I needed. I learned to pour into others without forgetting to pour back into myself this year. Finally feeling like myself again,.
But a better version. I showed up scared, tired, hopeful, determined but I showed up anyway… walking into 2026 without having to start over is the best feeling. Praying over this next year”. According to user @mgrsxzrio: “As someone na very si-aw ambot nalang gyud”. According to user @thelavendernurse: ““She impacted my life in so many ways, she showed so much compassion while I was going through a very scary and hard time after I was rushed in for an emergency C-section… and in 2025 i had her as my nurse once again gave me a sense of safety and security as we reminisced on our previous encounter with one.
Another. She was by my side every step of the way providing exceptional care. Her presence put my mind and nerves at ease. Her dedication to taking care of her patients and the empathy that she has for people is the reason why I am currently perusing an AA in pre nursing. I am forever grateful to have had Taylor as my nurse not once but twice.” Just one of many lives you’ve impacted!!! Love you @taylortwinmom !!!”.
