Mentioned genetic testing. From everything we’ve learned with our veterinary team, genetic testing would not have predicted or diagnosed Velvet’s scoliosis. There is currently no routine genetic test that would have told us she would develop this condition, so placing blame on the breeder over genetic testing isn’t accurate in this situation.
